Humpback whales spent the summer in the northern seas around the Aleutian Islands, feeding on an abundance of food.
In winter, they return to the waters around Zamami Island, surrounded by beautiful coral reefs about 40 km west of Naha City in Okinawa, a warm and quiet place with quiet waves, to breed.

Aharen Beach is an 800-m-long stretch of pure white sandy beach located in front of the village of Aharen, southwest of Tokashiki Island.
The clarity of the ocean is so outstanding that you can see colorful tropical fish even from the edge of the surf.

*People with circulatory or respiratory disease, high blood pressure, otitis media, pregnant women, epilepsy, diabetes, liver problems, hangovers, or alcohol consumption on the day of the event are not allowed to participate. *Unlike the summer season, the ocean in Okinawa in winter, when the whales come to the area, has higher waves than in summer. Depending on the sea conditions, infants and the elderly may not be allowed on board. Please understand this in advance.

Abaren Beach in particular was a quiet and beautiful place where the adults could relax and enjoy the nature of Okinawa while the children played in the sand. Whale watching was also very exciting for both adults and children. We were able to see the whales right in front of us, and we all cheered when they jumped close to us.
