The captain, a veteran of more than 10 years, uses his intuition and experience to find the whales of the day in the shortest possible time and maneuvers the boat so that you can see the whales no matter where you are.

Access to the site
Mie Castle Port is not shown on the map, so please set your car navigation system to "Naha Beachside Hotel" near the port.
After passing through the toll gate at the harbor entrance, enter the harbor, turn right, and walk about 200 meters to the waiting area (easily recognizable by the triangular roof).
The parking fee in the harbor is ￥500/day. Please park in the white parking lots as the yellow parking lots are contracted parking lots.

Change of reservation date can be made from the day before the reservation date with a change fee of ￥2,000 per person.

*Unlike the summer season, the ocean in Okinawa in winter, when the whales arrive, has higher waves than in summer throughout the year.Infants and pregnant women may not be allowed on board due to sea conditions.Please understand this in advance.

I was very impressed to see the whales up close, as was the 97% detection rate for the year 2024. We boarded a specially designed large cruiser and were able to get a good look at the whales at the bow of the boat after they were spotted. The veteran guide guided us and timed our approach to the whales perfectly! The tour was conveniently accessible from Naha, and the morning tour gave us plenty of time for sightseeing in the afternoon.

530代Month of posting: 2024/03The 97% detection rate was true! During the course of the tour, the captain was able to locate the whales well and we were able to see them several times. We were able to see the whales' tail fins and jumps up close, which was very powerful! However, it is a popular tour, so I recommend booking early. The boat was spacious and comfortable, and the cruiser was stable enough that we did not get drunk. I was very satisfied to have a wonderful whale experience in Okinawa in winter.
