Humpback whales spent the summer in the northern seas around the Aleutian Islands, feeding on an abundance of food.

If a reservation is cancelled for the customer's convenience, the following cancellation fee will be charged. Please note that bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer.

*Unlike the summer season, the ocean in Okinawa in winter, when the whales arrive, has higher waves than in summer throughout the year.Infants and the elderly may not be allowed on board due to sea conditions.

*Pregnant customersare not allowed to participate for safety reasons due to the adverse effects of vibrations from the ship's engines.

*Tour may be cancelled due to sea and weather conditions.

*Customers are responsible for their own preparations for warmth and waterproofing.

*Those who are prone to seasickness are advised to take anti-sickness medication.

If you didn't see the whales...

Whales are wild animals and may not be seen. In the unlikely event that whales are not spotted, we will do one of the following

(1) Only the Churaumi Aquarium ticket (¥1,960 for adults and ¥630 for elementary and junior high school students) will be deducted from the refund.
*For the period of 2/1/2025 to 3/15/2025, refunds are applicable.
(Refunds are not available from 12/21/2024 to 1/31/2025 and 3/16 to 4/6)

(2) Whale watching again (until 4/6/2025)
However, if any of the following applies, we will not be able to respond. Please understand this beforehand.

Also, please understand that if you are unable to use both (1) and (2) due to your schedule, we regret to inform you that they will be waived.

The probability of detection does not change depending on the time of day. You may be able to find it in the morning but not in the afternoon, and vice versa. Please decide the flight according to your schedule.

There are no lockers at the meeting place, so please keep your valuables with you. Suitcases, etc. can be left in the company car.

Q. What happens if it rains?

If it rains enough not to interfere with the operation of the vessel, the vessel will sail. Cancellation due to rain will incur a cancellation fee. In case of severe weather or high waves, the tour will be cancelled. In case of cancellation, we will contact you the day before or on the day of the tour, and the tour will be rescheduled for another day or a refund will be made. Refunds will be made by bank transfer, but in the event of a no-show due to weather conditions, bank transfer fees will be borne by the customer.

Q. Is there anything I need to prepare in advance?

A kappa, binoculars, and a towel are useful. The sea in winter in Okinawa can be windy and cold, so be sure to keep warm. The boat can be bumpy, so we recommend that you wear non-slip shoes such as sneakers.
